Why the blue Zebra?

The distinctive stripped pattern of modern day zebras has evolved over time as a way of confusing their predators. The black and white stripes act as a camouflage called disruptive coloration that breaks up the outline of the body. In a crowded herd of zebras, their pattern makes them nearly impossible to determine where one zebra begins and another one ends. To separate our zebra from the herd, we positioned the zebra with blue stripes making our zebra stand out from all the other zebras in the herd.
