Don’t forget CPC advertising
When you conduct a research study make sure you get the most value you can with your target audience by promoting the study using every promotional tool at your disposal. Get the study on your web site, optimize the page and promote it with PR as well as social media. When you are planning the program, don’t forget about Cost Per Click advertising.
One tool many marketers forget to add to the mix is Cost per Click advertising. We recently promoted a study for one of our customers and used CPC advertising as part of the program. While the publicity program was at its peak, Bing had a 10.57% and Google had a 3.57% Click Thru Rate on study related keywords. The study page on the web site immediately became one of the top visited pages and the CPC program generated roughly 20% of the traffic to that page.
